I can't believe I am even saying it, but do you think it would be a good idea for Howson to make a call to Russia and see if Filatov would consider coming back for the rest of this season?  With Nash out and since it appears we have no offense, I say it is worth the call.

It might be a good way to see if he is actually planning on coming back to the NHL and the CBJ next year.  I would be willing to see anything happen to shake things up.

filatov's khl team is in the playoffs,so his season is not over as of yet

i'm sure that scotty will be in touch with him or thru his agent to gauge his desire to play for columbus next year..

NOTE: THIS TEAM HAS GONE IN THE TOILET, i bet we win less than 5 games the rest of the way.....i hate this team, but damn it....i love it too. FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!

I think the call is a must for the off season.  The team needs to bring him back, have a solid draft, and maybe sign a good free agent to bring some hype back to the team.

the SEASON IS OVER... it has been way before hitch was fired... you know that rough patch where we lost 27 in row... yea it was over then...

just sit back and hope we can land a lottery pick that will pan out for once...
