CBJ vs. NYI, Mar 27, 2010:

This was the first Columbus game I have ever attended and the experience exceeded my expectations!  My immediate reaction of the whole experience was move closer to the C-bus.

I took some of the advise you gave me and (Islanders Fans) to give the group a stepping stone to start with.  I wish we had something similar to R Bar in my area because that place was fantastic!  I have never seen so many Jackets fans talking hockey in my life! The atmosphere was very friendly, relaxed and pretty much packed before and after the game.
I was very impressed with the arena district, the way the area was set up and the cobble stone roads spell "good time".
Inside of the Nationwide arena was exactly as I read in nhl forums: Loud!!  I really like the use of the Cannon, shocking at first, but awesome afterwords!  all I wanted to hear all game was the sound of the cannon...... going off constantly..... filling nationwide with smoke....... BUUUT they are the Blue Jackets!!!
A little disappointed in the 40 min the Jackets played.  The first perioud was brutal.... the second was getting there.... then when they scored two goals 1:00 apart things really livened up.  I was very impressed with Jake, that guy has got some serious skills and looks effen fast!  A win woulda been nice to see, but it was still good to see the CBJ get the point.
All in all Thank you for the Great experience Columbus!!!!! Love your city and absolutly still love the Jackets even though they like to test us sometimes. Untill next time  beer

Sounds like you had a good time, and that is the whole point.
