Hello all.

New to the forum, but not Blue Jackets hockey.  Grew up in South Western Ontario, and moved to the States the same year Columbus became an NHL franchise.  I was a huge London Knights and Ottawa Senators fan growing up, leading to my direct interest in Nash, Mason, and Methot (all of whom are Knights alumni).

After the Vermette trade, I started taking the Jackets very seriously.  While I had been a casual fan for their entire existence (FSN-Ohio, the only free hockey to watch from 2000-2008 for me), I began my painful transition from being a hardcore Senators fan, to being a hardcore Jackets fan.  All in all, I'd say the transition is complete, especially after the removal of hitch.

So there it is.  Looking forward to getting another perspective of Jackets hockey without the "you're an idiot feel" you get on some of the larger boards.  Go Jackets!
