Any chance the CBJ could trade their #4 overall pick, Huselius & next year's 1st round pick to Boston for the #2 pick to get Seguin? Just had a dream last night that they traded with Boston to get Seguin...gotta stop reading all the crap on the net, it's taking over my dreams!

Well, its 230, and if it was going to happen I think it would have!  No Savard No Spezza!

In reference to that trade nut is talking about, I don't think we would do it!

We will probably move down to #9 or #10, draft a winger that won't play this year or next, pick up an extra pick that we will use to draft a guy who just doesn't quite make it and an aging vet with one year and too much $$ on his contract!

If your not going to get in the trading game and get a difference maker like Spezza, etc.  why not just get Fowler or Grud and settle with a nice, young, solid defenceman who can play now?

We shall see!

I want Fowler most.  We've NEVER had an elite offensive D-man.  This is our chance.  I also wouldn't mind Gudbranson.  He's a huge guy, a presence.  And he's got an attitude that is awesome that hopefully can be passed on to some of the prima donnas on this team.  He's got some skill issues, but hopefully, that can be worked on byt the coaches.  I certainly wouldn't be mad about Gormley, but I'd rather the other two before him.  General consensus seems he's solid, but not likely to be a star.  More of a "no risk, but no reward".  We need to take a risk and get a potential star.

Fowler went from projected #4 to #12.
