Read this letter to the Editor, it was to the point and dead on...yet, we will still have way too many idiots who will "not get it" in this town.

Very very true.  A lot of people don't understand how much of an impact the lose of the CBJ would be to the city.  It would be great of the writers of the Columbus Dispatch and all local media would actually read and understand what kind of impact the team has and write positivly about it.

I mean how many votes did Franklin County citizens have for increased taxes for the CBJ?  If I remember correctly one.  Over 10 years ago.  Way before we actually had a team and the Arena District.  Maybe they should update their "facts" a bit.  I have a feeling the response would be much different now a days.

Letter & specific comment they were replying to...

"I voted against the various proposals in the past that asked taxpayers to foot the bill for a professional sports arena, and I will continue to do so for as long as I am breathing and they are put up for a vote."

(apparently "various proposals" means one vote nowadays)

Then I saw the guys name and looked him up on the net, can't imagine what he has a passion for...it's a rental house nonetheless...

Look, I am as big of a CBJ/OSU fan as you can find.  Born and raised here in Cbus, and I absolutely love both the Bucks & Jackets, idiots like this guy make me often times embarrassed to be a Buckeye...
