A long long time ago in a land far far away called the 1980's a boy went to his first Cyclones game. It was a beutiful night in southern Ohio, crisp air, cool breeze, a night that would mark the beginning of a passion. That boy soon found the joy that is hockey. Unfortunatly there was no NHL team in Ohio. After a long and arduious process the boy decided on a fellow midwest team. Being from Ohio he hated the dreadfull Michigan team for they were evil encarnate. The jewel of the midweast, Chicago called him like a long lost lover. But then, suddenly out of nowhere talk of an NHL team in Ohio was heard. It was true! Finally after years of hoping and praying it was happening. However the boy forgot about the curse of the Ohio Pro team. Destined to failure. The boy loved his new found team. As the team grew to blossom so did the boys love for them. It became an odsession, while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan the boy sacrificed talk time with his family to check the latest scores and stats. 10 years later the boys passion for his love has not faded, but his trust in the love being returned has.  GO JACKETS..return the love.

Hi my name is Kenneth and originally from Jacksonville Florida.
I came to C-Bus to attend college couple years ago (right now at CSCC hope to attend Franklin soon). Never cared for hockey till my roommate dragged me to a Blue Jackets game last season and got me hooked instantly.
My hobbies are reading (in fact I spend my Sat nights at the local Barnes and Noble), swimming, watching the news channels (especially Fox News) and going to Blue Jacket games (thank goodness for Student Rush)
Please to meet everyone.

Hi my name is Scott.  I am new, but been posting things a couple weeks now.  I am a firefighter in a town north of Dayton.  Been A CBJ fan since the team started up.  Before that i liked the Rangers and red wings but not anymore!!   Carry the Flag  I am not a season ticket holder but i do go to alot of games if tickets are cheap.  Best game i have been to this year was when we shut out Nashville right before our 5 game rd trip plus i was in 3rd row behind jackets bench.  I dont know who my fav player is because i like all of them most of the time till they give me a reason not to.  lol thanks for looking!   Carry the Flag

Welcome to the site, get a Nash, Umberger or Calvert jersey. Or be one of the first to rock a Johansen jersey.

I've been trying to contact the admin of this forum and have some ideas that might help jump-start activity here, particularly in the off-season. If Nate or anyone who helps administer the site sees this, please contact me.

I can be reached at the email address I used to register or via the email form here:

(Yes, that's me. Yes, I look - and am - exactly as dorky as that picture.)
