Hey everyone,

Brian here from Arch City Army, thought since one of my best friends is a member maybe I should join up as well :).  I am one of the founding members of Arch City Army, a Columbus Blue Jackets supporter group.  Similar to soccer supporter groups we are going to work on bringing a great atmosphere to nationwide in any way we can.  We are also going to do some away trips in the future.

I look forward to reading the forums and getting to know everyone on here as much as I can.

Hello and welcome to the site! 

I'm not from Ohio, but was curious why the "Arch City Army" name since it sounds like that thing in St. Louis.  Where'd y'all get the idea from, a similar shaped landmark in Columbus ?

Throughout Columbus' history as well as today the city has arches stretched across many major streets.

We wanted a name that was closely tied to the city and its history.  Luckily St. Louis only has one where we have dozens of street arches throughout the city

no problem, i did not even know the picture was going to be that big :( but those arches are right down the street from nationwide arena
