It must be frustrating to be so committed to Phoenix and know that the sale is getting blocked by something that may or may not be true. At any rate, the article says that the primary option if relocation is needed is sending the team back to Winnipeg. However, we may as well speculate. Thoughts on what will happen here?
I think Seattle would be the best option if relocation is needed, they are a town worthy of a franchise, they have an arena where the Sonics used to play, and I don't want to see all the whiners from Canada get their wish, because next it will be Hamilton/Quebec, etc...However, if Seattle doesn't happen, I'm sure that Winnipeg would welcome the team back with open arms, which would be good. We'll have to keep an eye on this for sure.
