it's funny how we've gone back and forth on this.  I know I have.

he is going to be a player, but when?

...and Inaug asks who takes his spot?  somebody from springfield less likely to regress, but with a much lower high side.

sending 19 back to jrs is not about the CBJ winning this year, it's about winning next year.

I was talking about this with my dad the other day and if they send him back to jrs, what does he have to prove?

oh absolutely nothing to prove in jr.

but the considerations to have him stay are playing time, money and breakage.

how many young players did we screw up by bringing them to the nhl too soon?  klesla, filatov, brule, and others to be sure.

I want to see him be great.  so whatever make that more likely is what I want.  if staying with this @#$%^& team this year makes him better, a step toward greatness, so be it.

Howson just tweeted that Johansen will be staying. He will remain on wing, but the plan is for him to play center down the road.

good decision....what could he possibly gain by scoring 35 goals and 50 assists in 45 games @ junior....he has shown he can play at this level....this looks like one decision that GMSH nailed.....remember that everyone said ryan who? at the draft......

I think I like this move, it shows that Howson hasn't given up on the team, and it will give Johansen some good experience. We can't suck this badly all year, hopefully Johasen can play a big role in getting or offense going. Keeping him up will surely give him some confidence.

Atkinson wasn't playing well in his own zone...allegedly.

Johansen would be with Springfield already if he were old enough.
