the coach HAS to go ... there are no excuses for the team not being ready to play after a half week off ... and playing a team that just played last night ... against ... a rookie goalie making his first career NHL start no less... now Toronto is good ... i get that ... and good for them ...

here is what HAS to happen

fire the coach ... replace him with an assitant or some other poor soul until we can find a real coach

fire the GM who i have defended at every turn... ( UNLESS ) he trades for a REAL starting goalie

at this point i think our only viable option for trading for a starting goalie would be to trade Rick Nash... honestly ... what else on this team would bring one ...?

other points...

say we continue to play shitty and land a lottery pick and get lucky and land #1 overall ... (  a russian kid ... thats has worked well so far ... ) could we trade that pick for a starting goalie ...?

what would you do to fix this crap ... ?

and will Jeff Carter's foot ever heal ...? EVER ...?

CHUNKBOX and I meet again.  I just wrote on the other thread "something HAS to happen".

We cannot just continue to fail.

It's painfully funny that we've been through 2 GMs, a handfull of coaches, hundreds of players and nothing changes.  Nothing happens.  ...ok, nothing good happens.

oh i agree ... i don't want to trade Nasher either ... i am just saying he is the only viable player we could trade to get back a real #1 starting goalie ... i am talking top 10 goalie here in his prime or about to reach it
