Voracek = Scoring Points on a winning team!

Hitch = Takes over a team and they become a winning team!

Nash = High payroll and -10 with the greatest center ever in Columbus!

Pretty much enough said.....Talk to ya in a few years!  Go Flyers (until overpaid and overrated Nash is gone)

Nope you're wrong.  It's called having ownership that apparently doesn't give two shits about winning right now. They haven't made one change through all this mess and it's completely baffled me.  Priest might be a great CPA, but he doesn't know squat about hockey let alone how to run a hockey organization.  Compound that with a rookie GM who's in over his head. And then strike three, you add a rookie coach who can't lead this team out of the depths of hell.

Yes, Nash might get us some great return, but without the proper leadership above him, we'll still be the laughing stock franchise.  It starts from the top down.  This joke of an organization is where careers die on/off the ice.

Until changes are made, we will continue to see this happen no matter who is on the roster.

Columbus is to the NHL as Cleveland is to the NFL.

- end of the line for careers
- turning winners into hopeless losers
- great at fooling fans (in the short term)

Seriously, if someone was drafted by either of these organizations I'd suggest they stay home and bag groceries.  Or just play for a year or two to make some loot and then get the heck out.  Look at Colt McCoy. Once a proud champion, now a broken man with no confidence.  The same might be said about our Rick Nash.

Well knock me over and call me Clumsy, fly is back. Well kinda.

I will say this fly, you wanted vermette so bad .. you said he would be the center nash needed. I strongly suggest you look  at those vermette jammies and make sure you were not on crack when you bought them.

Hitch has not had enough games under his belt with st louis to say if he is or isnt making that team better. Sure he has won 2 in a row, so what .. show me something more and then I can agree with you.

Nash I will agree with you, here is the thing about Nash that I didnt notice (well think about is probably the better term) until the game I was at last night. Nash..I think Nash has gotten so used to having to do everything on his on for how many years now 9? christ.. that he now has Carter a center that is deemed the best columbus has ever had.. but they are not clicking STILL! The answer - Nash does not know how to be a team player - period. He is a 1 man show out there.

ps sorry for the sloppyness, typing from a phone is not the easiest thing to do.

the three points are valid enough.  but I am not sure what they prove.

I do agree with dasnut.  how I have put it is that the guy highest on the org chart needs to make a move to get leadership below him.  because I do not see it on the ice.  lots of stuff can happen in the offices and lockerroom that I can't see.

but we someone to lead!  Prospal, I used to think RJ (but not any more), even Bass and Johansen.  Somebody step up to say and do the things that make these players play more like the original CBJ.  this skilled roster with THAT heart will be something to watch.

Nothing, other than the fact that fly was right all these years. Whatever firefly, rub it in our face all you want but you are not a fan of this team. Sorry man, to really understand the validity of his points you had to have been on the site for a couple years before he stormed off on us (note the negative 27 reputation)
