This Has got to stop. Whoever has voodoo dolls of our goalies please stop hurting them.

The Blue Jackets morning skate took an ugly turn less only 20 minutes into the proceedings. A Rick Nash shot rattled the mask of goaltender Steve Mason, sending Mason to his elbows and knees and requiring help from trainers.

Mason, who left the skate under his own power, will not play tonight because of a head injury, coach Scott Arniel said. Allen York has been recalled from minor-league Springfield and will serve as Curtis Sanford's back-up tonight vs. the Calgary Flames.

"He’s not good," Arniel said. "Yorkie’s on his way in here. (Mason’s) going to miss tonight and we’ll re-evaluate him tomorrow. He got hit pretty good there, hit pretty hard."

Just read this too.  Not good.  Never good when any player gets hurt.  Hopefully Sanford can continue to controll things while Mase is out or until at least Dex is back health.

Even if Mase is injured or not I still hope Howson is shopping for a goalie , Sanford is an interesting twist but I dont see him giving us that chance to win on a nightly basis.

Ok I true I see your point about that, but we are taking way too many hits at that position. That is the point I am trying to make. If it not mase then it is another goalie getting hurt. That is the point I am thing to make.

an injury to any player is not a good thing.

if our society accepts otherwise, we've lost our moral compass.

I have morals, dear sir...but none of them involve supporting/rooting for Steve Mason....ever.

Christmas came early this year.
