Came out on top with a 5-1 win most goals scored so far this season. Sanford with another solid effort and Vinny played his 1000th game. Feel like Carter and Sanford got robbed of being 2 of the 3 stars at the end of the game.

I had Sanford with the #1 star, Nash #2 and Wiz #3 with 2 points as a dman.

carter and nash are playing well together...but I really like how it's all coming together.

...and we shut up the Buffalo fans quickly!  they travel well.....

I met a couple "nice" Buffalo fans, but the ones sitting around us where horrible.  Very rude, disrespectful and cursing left and right.  Our usher finally got fed up with it and called security and they started throwing them out.

Got to participate in the Tunnel of Pride for the first time.  Very cool experience and we can hope that helped motivate the team tonight.  The boys put on a great show on the ice and quickly shut up those few Buffalo fans that could behave enough to stay around us.  Keep those points coming.

Oh and with the win tonight, the Jackets have now moved out of the cellar and have pushed the Islanders behind us in points.  I know it isn't much, but we got to take it one step at a time.

That, my friends, was one of the best efforts I've seen out of this team in years. This team can be SCARY good when everything is rolling on all cylinders like it was tonight.

This is what SHOULD happen when a team that's finally healthy takes on a team that's currently devastated by them.

Props to our guys for taking care of business.

Sandford is legit, 29 saves. 5-1 win. Seasons not over yet!
