So both Boudreau and Maurice got the ax today from their teams. Could one of them be possible replacements for SA, if we slide again? I wouldn't mind seeing Boudreau as our bench boss, seeing what he did with the Caps over the past 5 years

Would love to have boudreau coaching the Jacets. I think he would be a great fit. He worked wonders with the Caps. Him being fired is 30% on him and 70% Ovy and his ego. At least with the Jackets he could work with Nash's talent without all the "me first" attitude Ovy has.

I say we finish the season with Arniel, because of the recent play of the Jackets (despit a NAIL BITTING loss) , Arniel deserves to show what he can still accomplish with a full roster and a better goalie then Mace, so I guess what I am sort of saying is that I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I say we continue with Arniel, but if we go on some crazy losing streak I would love Boudreau to come in.

Yeah, but at that time the Caps were playing a system that catered to Ovy's style of play. They try to change the system and try something different, and things have not gone well for Ovechkin since then.

When you bench your captain for poor play and he throws a hissy fit on the bench, what does that say to the rest of the team?

Ovechkin is one of the most Dynamic players in the league, Boudreau wasn't handling him well this season. Sure he complained when he didn't get to play in the last minute but what do you expect. I don't think Crosby would be too happy if that happened. Plus we can't forget that he is Russian.
