It seems they are trying to shop Brassard...and hard. 12 scouts were reported in Charlotte for the Canes game as well as another 9 tonight. Have to think we can get SOMETHING for him. Hard to see what he can still do when he spends the majority of the time as a healthy scratch.

If you can get somebody worthwhile in return, do it. Brass is playing 4th line minutes and seems unlikely to bust the top 6 this season. Cant see him continuing to rot in the press box much longer.

first off i like Brass ... he was really cool to me and my step son at a fan fest a few years ago ( gave him one of his sticks because he beat Brass at a hockey game on X Box ... so i will always like Brass for that

and i like his game when he is allowed to play it ... while he may not have lived up to first round status after being drafted ... ( few have in CBJ land ) i don't feel he is to blame for the record

now the important question ... what can we get for him ...

i would be shocked/surprised if we get more than a second rounder for him at this point ... or anything more than a bottom D man ...

someone made the comparison to Commodore...  seems valid.

HCSA has decided Brass isn't part of his plan, just like Commie last year.

I really don't think we have enough money to throw away one High $ player a year.
