Well the meetings are going on now. There are some rumors already coming out of the meeting. What do you all want to see? I mean it is det or cbj moving. Or is it? One rumor just has the jets moving and having 2 8 team western confrences and 2 7 team eastern ones.
Now this could get intrusting. I know I want to move to the east. (we also seem to play better against them) So I know what I want.
CBJ and PENS riverly started.
What about you.

I think we NEED to move the east, no doubt. But I'm certainly not holding my breathe for any such news. We would be the last team to get any preferrential treatment in this league.

We are the last team for preferential treatment. One report has PHX moving east? Wtf? We are the most easterly team not in the eastern conference...why does it make sense to move DET before us?

PHX will be sold if it hasn't been already and moved into Quebec or northern Toronto ... we will be moved to the ECHL where we should be able to compete more ... should

Man I'm excited about this, our conference is still tough tho. It doesn't help that we have one more team to compete against than do conf c and d. The east still seems to have it a bit easier.
I'm looking forward to see what happens.

maybe the east teams got the 7 team conferences in exchange for more travel. so this will help us with travel. it will not help us like a move to the east would have. for whatever reason, we seem to do better against the east than the central. we still have to beat the Preds....somehow.

I like the new system for many reasons...but I'm sure mike priest is sitting somewhere in absolute bliss over how much more revenue the team will have next year from playing eastern teams, plus keeping Detroit and Chicago

The other thing I like is we play every team a home and home, so we get to see everybody.

I think this is what I am also most excited about. I like the new plan a lot.

If you were not a big hockey fan when they had this set up and playoffs before you will have to see what happens. This is how the best riverlies are started. I remember the Whalers and Bruins games. The amount of fights in the stands during playoff games were unreal.
This will be great I already can't wait for next season. I need to plan my trip early. Since this will become a anual thing for me like going to see them play in tampa every year now.
Anf just a fun note. Hockey coming back to Orlando. woohoo. The SolarBears are coming back. next season.
