so after getting to see team Russia play a few games in the WJC what are your thoughts about Nail ...? do you think he will drafted #1 overall ...? do you think he would fit with our team ...? or who would you choose ...?

i really liked his motor ... he seemed to be skating hard most of the time ... and while not scoring goals he set up 10 i think ...

I didn't see any WCJ games.  But I really doubt GMSH would be able to draft another Russian.

Everything I've seen of the kid indicates that he is truly a step above the rest of his class. I would be pretty comfortable drafting him if we still suck enough to get the first overall pick. He's not Ovechkin, but he definitely doesn't have Filatov's attitude either. But with typical CBJ luck/scouting/drafting history, we'll get the #1 pick and put it to waste.
