So Lebda was at Springfield on an AHL contract? 

It said he signed a one year contract....I assume that means the rest of this season.

Is that right? 

I'm a little confused....

We need to take a serious look at defense before anything else, I can understand mistakes, but not two that result in goals like last night. We screwed ourselves with those.

Interesting to find out what happened.  4 days ago, Martinek was reported as saying he was symptom free and was expected to play again this season.  He had to have a major set back.

Lebda did have a contract with Springfield only this year after Nashville bought out his contract before this season started.  And even though they are saying it is a 1 year contract, it is only for the remainder of this season.  Hopefully we get some good shut down defense that we badly need to help our goalies.  My guess is Savard is going back to Springfield.
