Interesting timing.  Maybe Bettman is trying to throw McConnell a bone here since the next seasons attendance will be horrible, why not help an owner out by awarding him a money maker like the All Star Game.

My town got the asg in 2009 and it's a treat ,pretty sure are dear franchise will get this right from a marketing stance because of are horrid record for the last few years it's a miracle people still attend games.

So excited for this entire weekend! Hoping to be able to get tickets, and if that means buying a quarter season package to see whatever they decide to throw out there next season, I'll do it

A friend of mine won tickets to the ASG in Ottawa.  He was in front row of Ottawa's "middle" bowl.  Face value of his tickets were $95 for the Skills Comp and $145 for the ASG.  Those prices were about the same for the ASG held in Atlanta and Carolina.

I already have a hotel room booked for downtown Columbus for the weekend.  I am not even leaving downtown that weekend.

Drury Inn & Suites.  You can make reservations already and they don't require a deposit to hold it.  Rooms are going quick though.
