I think the deals are there, but I think it is a reluctance on our part to trade picks and/or players.  Some say that is good, not give away the farm, but you got to give something to get something.....nothing is free....not even in the great NObama world.

As far as picking up guys who are big, not buying it!  Yes, you do need some bigger guys who are durable and can hit and be strong with the puck.  Here is the problem, when you have to many (which we do), you don't have enough speed and quick skating ablility, hence the reason why we seem to chase the puck around the ice.  Just a thought, but picking up a guy just because he is big, not a good idea.

I always thought they were actually looking for a big & fast center for Nash.  He needs someone whom can skate with him.  Getting a big guy is one thing, but having someone big that can keep the pace with a speedy Nash is another.  But I do agree with you, we have enough size and not enough overall team speed.

Nor skill for that matter, yes there are a handful of guys that have skill but thats is it. Not enough

define skill... you mean the ability to go offsides every time we have a man advantage on a rush...?

or do you mean the ability to not handle the puck properly on the power play...?
