It was reported by Portzline in the Dispatch this morning that Howson has said if the deals aren't right they will not make any moves today because he believes this team, as is, can make the playoffs.  I'm hoping Howson is just trying to posture publicly and not show any weakness/desperation needed for today's events.  So far, he has said all the right things.

Do you think this team can make the playoffs without any trades today?

So true!  I just love how Howson makes those statements to the press and then makes the first trade of Deadline Day!!! Awesome!
