Today's Biggies
Edm @ Col (Douchebag hat trick?)
Ana @ Phx (Coach em home Gretz)
StL @ Van (StL has a goalie named Mason, they GOTTA win!)
Nash @ SJ (struggling lately, but the Shark tank is still a tough place!)
If all the bad guys win, we would have a 3 pt cushion on 7th and fall 5 behind Vancouver.
hopefully they all lose and those games in hand disappear!
Well today just pretty much sucked for scoreboard watching for the good guys. All of the teams that we wanted to lose won therefore making us fall behind more

yeah... didnt go so well today. The only positive on the night was that Nashville was held to one point instead of two. Lost in shootout to SJ. Edmonton is right on our tail!! we MUST keep winning, and winning a lot!

Today, besides beating the Panthers, we've gotta keep an eye on:
Dallas @ SJ (We need the sharke to become the sharks of old for now!!!)
Vancouver @ Phoenix (probably not gonna happen, but go 'Yotes!!)
Dallas losing would definitely help solidify the spot, Vancouver winning would not be as big of a deal. it would just be nice to increase our chances of catching them!! But as we've all said... It all about getting there!!! so go SJ!!

I just watched the first period of Phx vs Van. I haven't watched alot of pheonix games but what I've seen in the first period surprised me. They have alot of young players who know how to play the game and I'm sure they will make the playoffs next year. They've got the greatest hockey player ever coaching them, young talent that compares to Columbus', they just need to get out of the desert.
1-0 for pheonix so far, go yotes

last time i watched them play was against Nashville a week or two ago and they looked horrendous!!
They must be lacking consistency.
however, they were good enough to sweep us in 4 games this year (which still really frustrates me to think about!). think how nice another 2 or 4 pts would be right now haha.
they do have young talent though, i hope their big time money troubles dont prevent them from improving. Never want that to be a reason for any team's demise!

Definitely a good thing that Phoenix is pounding Vancouver.

The Yotes do have some amazing young talent, Mikkel Boedeker, Peter Mueller, Viktor Tikhonov, Kyle Turris. Combine that with what we've got in Columbus and we've got ourself an exciting team to watch!
Good night on the scoreboard, 7 points clearing us from 9th!
