The Juice is Loose!!!

« on: March 27, 2009, 09:56:05 PM »

This weekend could go a long way toward officially clinching our playoff berth!!! we won't be able to do it officially this weekend, but with the Blues being one of those bubble teams, taking 4pts from them would be awesome!!!

We need to make this whole playoff thing 100% official so we can all start figuring out how we are gonna get our hands on those playoff tickets!  cool

Think Mase will get the call on both nights?? i think he will most likely play both but i would not be completely shocked to see Dubie play one of them.  Mase has allowed just 3 goals in the past 3 games (one of those being in extra time) he has been awesome lately... i say let him hold the reigns!!  good

just caught up on my puck rakers reading that i missed out on while in Vegas.... i see that hitch has no plans to rest Mase. i say good call.  good   He is playing very well and our schedule is not too grueling from here on out. why knock him off his rhythm?

This is a big series.  We could put them out and give us a more comfortable cushion in our playoff position.

we don't play well against St. Louis, the only positive I can remember about playing them in the last few years is Nash's sick stick between the legs shelf goal

hehe yea that was a sick goal for sure...

as for the weekend series wow... these 2 games together could spell disaster or cushion ... i feel if we split that helps us as well... i of course am rooting for a 2 game mini sweep... but a spilt would help us too....

all i want is solid play and for everyone who is healthy to stay that way... and for those who arent... a speedy recovery...

i really think we are gonna see ALOT of big hits and fights... i have a feeling the calgary game was a precursor to these games... ALOT OF PIMS in this weekend series...

crombeen , backes ( remember his crosscheck to juice's face ) and on our end boller and dorsett... lets play hockey

ITS SATURDAY NIGHT !
 2 thumbs up

THIS should be some exciting hockey if you ask me. We need 2 or 3 more wins to secure our seed, but more if we want to catch the Nucks. and the blues are the hunter, the desperate hunter which we have been at this time in so many seasons past. They will play harder than ever before as they are one point out of the spot they need. I will be rooting for them, other than tonight and Sunday, for the rest of the season, just because of the great comeback they have made, and because I can stand them, I can't stand the SEXUAL PREDATORS!!!

25 minutes to puck drop and I'm pumped! I feel a good game coming on tonight, especially for Rusty, he's worked his butt off for the past couple and deserves something in return.
CARRY THE FLAG!!!
GO CBJ!!!

4-3 Jackets is my prediction, with goals from:

Wouldn't it be cool if all 5 central div teams made the post-season tho? then we could say that we are the strongest div in the league!

However I am not a fan of either the sexual predators or the blue and would rather see a team like Edmonton make it, just because of what Dwayne Roloson has had to do, 31 straight starts, and stopped 51 shots last night vs the Wild. CRAZY!

Now to the Jackets vs Blues game. 1 min till puckdrop, should be a good one. LET'S GO BOYS! LET STEVE BE THE BETTER MASON TONIGHT!

All five central teams making it would be dope. I'm with you on Roloson, he's been amazing in net for Edmonton.

Go Jackets Go! prediction is 4-2for us, nash with a hat-trick, and mason with an empty net goal!
