If I can put some ideas out there for any skilled users of the photoshop and similar programs. Feel free to use these as a jumping off point...
1) the Red Wings are the most boring team in the NHL. That's why Don Cherry and the rest of the NHL hates them.
2) Osgood is a sieve (yet he still won so many games, which is upsetting).
3) They don't sellout playoff games*
*let's be sure we sold ours out before going here...
4) Detroit industry failure**
**too soon? I'm not sure if it plays into the "friendly" aspect of this thing. But I think its worth it.
5) Franzen just got a 11year/$45M contract. COME ON!
6) The best thing about Detroit is its proximity to Windsor.
Anyone have any more ideas?

LOL you guys are hilarious!! One thing to keep in mind though is we try to keep it more aimed at the actual teams/players/coaches and not the city itself because as funny as the one saying "I sold my house for tix, still owe TM 20 bux" is , the reality here in detroit is that there are SO many people out of work. So many good, honest, innocent people and that thought of selling their house for tix would only work if we had houses to sell LOL <-----Poking a little fun of us myself. But really, it's just a sad situation and while I find it funny, theres a lot of honest good people who might be hurt by it.
That said, You guys are already being better sports about this than Pittsburgh was last year. This means WAR!!! lol
