Puck Rakers says that they are working on the possibility of showing the away playoff games on the big screen outside the arena. that would be AWESOME!!  It says that they are trying to get permission from both Fox Sports and Nationwide (owns the screen) If there was a good turnout to see the game outside the arena i would think that would be a lot of fun!!   Hope it works out!!!   2 thumbs up

For the life of me, I have no idea why this hasn't happened.  I would have thought FB&WB would have pushed for that since that thing went up!  What a great atmosphere that could be, everyone basically having a block party.  Could be sweet.

If they put those games up, I'll be sitting there in my Mike Commodore sweater with a six pack of CBC.

That would be a great idea.  I might have to head down and watch it!   I can't imagine Fox and NW would object but you never know.

I bet the businesses outside of the Arena would love it!

And with a Clippers game there, too?  The city would have the best block party/tailgate scene this side of the 'Shoe.

I really hope this happens. Although I'd feel a little sketchy about going down there in a Wings jersey. Not that I've had any problems before, but for some reason, it being outside makes me think people would be a little more crazy.

Still, the Arena District would be packed.

If they let you drink on the street, I'd keep your distance.  j/k... I hope

That would be awesome, just like last year in Pittsburgh! We all saw how many were down at R Bar the other night, this would bring at least that many into the city, if not 2 or 3 times that.
