yeah sorry K-Menki you and I both missed the boat on this round... ha

I predicted that Crosby would be better than Malkin and Ovechkin last series, and I'd like to think I am right. It's debatable but overall I believe Crosby was better. My prediction for the canes series is that Malkin will be better than crosby (points wise) which would make for a better series against Detroit. Also Ozzy has been unreal so far in the playoffs but at some point you gotta think he will crack, I know alot of Detroit fans will dabate that, using Ozzy's playoff record as proof but unlike Ozzy MAF hasn't played his best. If both Malkin and MAF can turn up the heat headin into the Detroit finals I might just take the penguins to win.

So Malkin stepped up his game even further with 6 goals, 3 assists (9pts) to Crosby's 2 goals, 5 assists (7pts) - part 1 of prediction correct - next we had marc andre fleury who saved 109-118 shots for a .923 save %, and better yet a 4-0 record - part 2 of my prediction is correct - WEIRD!

So all things considered this rematch of last years FINALS will be quite a dandy. I still haven't chosen who I think will win but I think it will be a deeper series than last year, as in 7 games.

PENS vs. WINGS - 6 games - Guerin

I hope the Penguins will win the cup. I don't like Detroit to win the cup after they swept us.  Carry the Flag

Pens v Wings - 6 games - Malkin

Pitts better steal one of the back-to-back games this weekend, otherwise I'm gonna be very wrong.

agree, they deserve it after coming back from as far back as they did. Bylsma has done a superb job, Gonchar helped too, just shows you how important a good d-man on the PP is.

true, got to give you props with a pick like that, but I couldn't find a way not to pick Malkin. I wouldn't be surprised if a guy like Ericsson or Cleary gets, even Staal, it could go either way.
