The radio is reporting that lineup changes are coming.  Here's a Hitch quote:

Quote
--Hitchcock was asked whether he would make any lineup changes for Game 2. “Yes.” He said. Then, he was asked whether he cared to elaborate. “No,” he said.

Any predictions on what the shakeup will be, if any?

If it's not Filatov being added to the line-up it will be Nash playing RW with on a line with Umberger.

/crosses fingers

Malhotra out rest of series Malhotra out rest of series Malhotra out rest of series...

I think the top three lines should be:

Nash-Vermette-Voracek
Huse-Williams-Umberger
Modin-Malhotra-Torres

This gives you a play-making, NON-OWN-GOAL-SCORING Center on F1 and keeps Huse and Umberger together with a C who knows a little something about the Wings.  Manny-Freddie-Raffi actually is a pretty damn good F3 line, the more I think about it.

Hedja out Novotni in.  I think the first 3 goals were scored with him seemingly standing around. We need to find room for Filatov too.  Malhotra needs to pick it up but so does Nasher.  Everyone seemed to be throwing their body around last night (at least the first 30 minutes of the game) except Nash.  He's the biggest guy we have yet he is not playing very big.

Manny made one mistake, it was quite costly in the terms of loss of momentum, but I don't give up on him. He can be a very effective player and don't forget how good he is on draws.

These are the lines I would like to see

Nash-Umberger-Huselius
Modin-Vermette-Voracek
Torres-Manny-Chimmer
Filatov-Peca-Willams

I want a stacked top line because Nasher had alot of trouble vs Lidstrom, so if we send that line out a few shifts per game it will get Nasher a little more room and he will find how to get scoring chances.

raff?  Novotny is a forward, Hejda is a defenceman, not sure I follow that, but I think NOvotny sucks as a forward, maybe D is where he should play!

I don't look for Filatov to be anywhere near the lineup, but it is nice to dream! As long as we are dreaming, lets play Mayorov!  He is quick, and we can play him without fear of a contract problem, and may surprise some people.

If we were talking reality, it should be Vermette centering Voracek and Nash.  Leaving a nice 2nd line of Williams centering Umberger and Juice.  Third line should include Picard!!!!!!

With Hitch, it is hard to tell, and no matter what happens, I would be floored if Jake gets more than 13 minutes of ice time.

I thought the shake up would be Hitchcock crying REDWINGS Foul," WE can't win because they cheat! I hate to say it but we got out played,I hate that crying bit, Play Hockey! Hitchcock Sounds, ( and looks ) like he ate Michel Therrien. Anyway Go Jackets!

I can't recall Hitch ever making excuses for poor play, not in Dallas, Philidelphia nor here.

I know but he was crying that the REDWINGS are cheating on faceoffs, that's why they won so many. I just think we should not be making excuses in the press , Michel Therrien made himself and Sissy Crosby look like fools last year.

I do think we will see Picard in the line up for sure i was on fire in the ahl. I know it is a big diffrence between hnl an ahl but he has the confedince. I would not be all that suprised to see Filatov in there.

yeah let's take out commodore  claps

as if  crazy, Commodore is exactly what we need against the wings, brute force, his play in past playoffs is the exact reason we have him on our team.

And Modin didn't play horridly, he's got a hard shot and can create scoring chances.
