So it comes down to this, in our first ever playoff series we have been kicked around by the defending champs. Final scores 4-1, 4-0, 4-1. The question is do we have the pride to go win a game to avoid being completely humiliated? It will take a full team effort from Mase back in net to Nasher up front. I think we can do it, we've beaten plenty of good teams, all be it in the regular season. Hopefully we have the same electricity inside Nationwide as game 3, this time we must avoid giving up an early goal. If we can get the first goal, and our first lead in the series Detroit will have to change their style. I hope to God we win tonight's game. We have been too good all year to go down in our first series 4-0.

i agree...  many are counting us out of game 4 because of the first 3 scores. Its a new game and this is still our house. We had a good record there all year and its time to defend it. We are basically playing for pride now and i'd love to take a game!!! Carry the Flag

guys...wow!  Pride?  You can play for pride all you want, but there is a point where you are just outgunned!  Granted, we haven't played like we should, and we need to show up tonite, but I don't agree with the pride comment.  I can't say our guys haven't played for pride in the first three, they just got beat by a better team.  I would love to see us win, and I think we have a shot, but lets not fault the losing on pride!  Other than that, its been a great season, I have enjoyed our conversations, and look forward to the new threads for the offseason, I am sure to make you guys upset  big grin

I bet you guys didn't see 0.67 GAA and a .974 Sv% coming. To be perfectly fair, we didn't either. This is however, the best tasting crow I've ever eaten.

Part of me wants you guys to win this game tonight because I've got class and can't watch it live, but I also am aware of my teams ability to finish. This series reminds me of Colorado last year.

I trust you Ohioans now realize how little regular season play means once you hit the big time. Hopefully your team takes some time this summer to regroup and build a deeper line up, then maybe next year you can actually compete...  2 thumbs up

I never said we didn't play like we are proud the first 3 games, I simply stated that our pride might really show through when we have out backs against the ropes.

maybe this is exactly what our team was waiting for....

they handled adversity pretty well this year with injuries and all... maybe they feel pretty comfy with thier backs against the wall...

maybe we run 4 straight and become the third team to ever do it....

im just sayin... maybe...  Carry the Flag

huh?  If the regular season didn't count for anything, why would they play?  It does mean something, it means we got a lot better, it means we made the playoffs, and it means we know we can compete.

As far as the Wings kicking our butt! Has nothing to do with the regular season or whatever else you said!  It has to do with a team who has the experience in the post season and a deeper line up!  I hope the Wings win it all for a lot of good reasons that have to do with the Jackets, but they aren't going to get by Vancouver this year.
