I got my version yesterday, but I only had time to play just one game (Columbus - Colorado 2:1 SO, Peca, Method SO). My first impression is very good. I hope I will find enough time this weekend to play at least 10 games.

I am a little slow on the times and just picked up NHL 2k9 a couple weeks back. Still trying to get use to is since I am not a very big sport game player.

NHL10 deserves game of the year...its so much more realistic now...harder to score, harder to defend, harder to play goalie...this game is incredible...new fights after the whistle, morale/energy boosts for fight wins, injuries during fights, custom songs for your teams entrance and scoring song and other things too, choice to play or sit players with injuries that occurred during a game, fans booing players for hurting a star player in the playoffs....this IS the ultimate hockey game...idk what they could do to make next years better

i got it for PS3 and its amazing. the new board play is awesome. adds a very realistic element to the game.
my ONLY complaint to this point is that they made the fight and board play button the same (hold or tap) it is easy to accidentally start shit with someone and get yourself an unsportmanlike conduct penalty.
GREAT game
Boosh14 on PS3. If anyone plays on that system... bring it on!!!

Nice 3 games yesterday. I think we should repeat this some time. I already have an EASHL team, but with the experience from last year I know that this can change from time to time. I founded a team for the GRL community. But if there is not enough interest, I will close this team and join another. If you want to play with us I think there will be no problem. The biggest problem will be the language, but most of us speak English so I think we can handle this. On saturday evening we will have a long session from 8 pm to 3 am CET (2 pm to 9pm EST), if you want you can join. I'll send you an invitation.

got it last night...almost called off of work today.....great improvements ..in the gm career mode,no longer can you just trade 3 dogs ( insert modin here ) for a stud...plus the fighting no longer looks like you are watching from the bench but actually looking the dude in the eye that your pounding and the new board play is realistic as hell....if you buy only one game, this is it....

hahaha....i like the fact that you can miss hits and hit the boards instead of your arms just flailing outward like on 09...only thing is, you can get hurt that way too...which is cool but it sucks when it happens...i also like the injuries from fights
