There is something happening in the Blue Jackets organization that is more important than the Filatov belly-aching that has been going on for the last couple of days.  Tomorrow night in Dallas the Jackets are set to take to the ice in their 20th game of the season.  The Jackets come into the game 11-6-2 with 24 points and 2nd to the Blackhawks (26 pts.) in the Central.  The Stars are 8-5-6 with 22 points and 3rd in the Pacific.  The Stars are 3-2-3 on home ice while the Jackets are 5-4-0 on the Road.

The lines for this mornings skate before the flight to Dallas were:

Huselius-Vermette-Nash
Umberger-Brassard-Voracek
Chimera-MacKenzie-Dorsett
Torres/Sestito-Blunden-Boll

According to Puck-rakers Hitchcock said that Mason will get the start between the pipes.  The Blue Jackets bring some momentum into Thursday night winning 4 of the last 5.

Let's Go Blue Jackets!!!

Should be a good game. Both teams are going into it with some momentum (Dallas beat the Wings tonight 3-1). I don't think many of the players are going to be too preoccupied with losing Filatov. Yeah he has great talent, but he wasn't producing when it mattered in games. No loss as far as I'm concerned.

Going to finally have a comfy chair in my room so can't wait to be able to kick back while I watch the Jackets.  It's good to hear Mason is back in the line-up, I just hope it isn't too soon and he's good and ready to be the wall we need him to be.

I am hopeing for a very good game tonight.  Putting Mason back in is the right choice if he is ready.  We don't want him thinking we don't have confidence in his play.  That will just set him back even more.  Hopefully he has his head on straight and pushes us to our first shut out.  I am just waiting to see that.

Garon already has a shutout so it would be our 2nd.

I saw on Puck-rakers that he missed the morning skate with a stomach flu and is questionable for tonight.  Looks like Sestito will get some more ice time tonight.

It would be great to start this road trip off with 2 points
